The IGF prides itself for providing employment, training, and work integrated learning opportunities to various university students and graduates, especially students from the previously disadvantaged universities. We are also proud of providing fire management training to rural communities which assist them in protecting their livestock and infrastructure while providing fresh pastures for their livestock.

We are equally proud of providing employment to rural communities for water restoration projects of controlling invasive alien plants.
